I am doing all that is in my heart for God because He is with me.

Today’s Scripture: 1 Chronicles 17:2, NKJV- “Then Nathan said to David, “Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.”

Lord God, I am praying now for a Nathan in my life. Not only was Nathan encouraging David to go for his dreams, but he also reminded Him that God was with him. I think Nathan proves his true value by going back and telling David to stop his plan.

Nathan was courageous in speaking truthfully. Nathan clearly listened to God and was willing to confront.  Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone like Nathan to tell us what plans God has for us?

Nathan also reminded David of where he came from. God had brought David out of the pastures to be one of the greatest men on earth. God also used Nathan to give David a glimpse of the future and what His works will do long after he dies. Nathan was godly and shared the plans of God.

Do you have a God friend to help you do all God has planted in your heart?

Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am praising Your name and I am thankful for the plans You have given me. I am praying with You now for a Nathan-like person that hears You clearly and will help me complete the plans You have for me; helping me to hear You clearly as we sit together Father God. May we complete the race You have given each of us to glorify You and Your Kingdom. Help me to do Your will today and always. Amen
