Today’s Scripture: 1 Chronicles 12:18, NLT- “Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, the leader of the Thirty, and he said, “We are yours, David! We are on your side, son of Jesse. Peace and prosperity be with you, and success to all who help you, for your God is the one who helps you.” So David let them join him, and he made them officers over his troops.”
When the Spirit comes upon us we know God is with us and that He is the one who helps us. Many brave and mighty warriors came to support David as he became king. God brought these fighters to him. In a time and place where was might was needed, God brought them to David.
As the Spirit came upon Amasai, he assured David he was on his side and that he would have peace, prosperity and there would be success for those who help him because God is the one who helps him. These mighty warriors and the people of God came to David because they knew God was with him.
When we seek God and His Holy Spirit He is faithful to help us and He brings those to us who can also help. As we seek God for help we too can ask for His helpers.

Today’s Prayer: LORD, thank You for helping me. You are the one who provides me with strength and success. Thank You LORD for the helpers you have sent and will send to me. Thank You Lord for sending Your Holy Spirit to help me. Thank You Holy Spirit for praying for me, supporting me, guiding me, and inspiring others to help me. You Father are our God and we praise You and thank You for helping us both when we are aware of Your help and when we are not. Amen
