Thank You LORD for being with me wherever I go and for prospering me.

Today’s Scripture: 2 Kings 18:7, ESV- “And the LORD was with him; wherever he went out, he prospered. He rebelled against the king of Assyria and would not serve him.”

The LORD was with Hezekiah, because he held fast to the LORD and did not stop following him; he kept the commands the LORD had given Moses. The LORD is also with us wherever we go and He will prosper us and make us successful.

However, this will cost us to stand against the world who ridicules us just as was happening to Hezekiah. A lot can change fast in our lives. In the short run we pay a price any time we trust man over the LORD.

This feel good affirmation will be tested and even mocked by those claiming to be sent from the Lord too. We must hold fast to the LORD and keep the commands of the Lord God of Israel and He will be with us and prosperous us wherever we go. Hold on, stick to His commands, and pray.

Are you willing to hold fast to the LORD in the face of ridicule?

Today’s Prayer: LORD, I am praising You and thanking You for being with me wherever I go and for prospering me and making me successful. I know all of my prosperity is from You LORD. I also understand I have consequences for when I fail to obey You and I violate Your covenants. Help me LORD to listen to Your commands and carry them out. Help me to ignore the voices of evil and pray to You to be faithful to Your call. Amen
