Today’s Scripture: John 14:12, NIV- “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”
What are you expecting to do today? Are you expecting to do even greater things than Jesus did while He was walking this earth? Jesus Himself is expecting even greater things from us. That is kind of mind blowing and motivating, isn’t it?
I am imagining some amazing things would be happening if we woke up every morning with the expectations of Jesus. Expecting that there would be greater evidence that we are in the Father and the Father is in us.
Will someone know a greater love today, a greater joy, or a greater peace? Can you and I show a greater kindness and goodness today? Let us expect in ourselves, as Jesus did, to do greater works and may we leave solid evidence that the works of the Father have come this way.
By the end of today will there be evidence that we are living in the Father and He is living in us?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, we praise Your name. Great is your power, love, and mercy. Thank You LORD for sending Jesus to show us how to live and what to expect. Lord God, thank You for redeeming us through Jesus Christ. Lord, I am living in You and I know You live in me. Help me Father to live from You and to do even greater things for You. Use me today Father God to love and help others in even greater ways. In You and Your Son, Jesus Christ, I do trust and love. Amen
