Today’s Scripture: Daniel 10:19 ESV: And he said, “O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage.” And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”
The angel Gabriel reminded Daniel how greatly loved he was saying “O Daniel, greatly loved of God, listen carefully to what I have to say to you.”
Gabriel proceeds to tell Daniel that from the first day he began to pray for understanding and humbled himself before God, that his requests had been heard from heaven. From our first day our requests are being heard as wellas we humble ourselves before God and seek understanding.
Like Daniel, I faint in the face of God’s glory and plans but He continues to strengthen me as he touches me and speaks to me. I know God knows exactly what the future holds. I know also He greatly loves me and I will humbly continue to pray.
Do you need to be reminded that God greatly loves you and that He is hearing all of your prayers?
Today’s Prayer: Mighty God, I faint before you and thank You for loving me greatly. I humbly ask You to prepare my heart and strengthen me to share Your promises. Thank You God for loving me and for Your Word, Your angels, and Your prophets. I trust in You and Your strength and continue to pray. Amen
