I praise the LORD both now and forever

Today’s Scripture: Psalm 115:18 NLT: But we can praise the LORD both now and forever! Praise the LORD!

 

The LORD has unfailing love and faithfulness towards us. Isn’t that cause for praise? It is not about our glory and praise but His! The first verse of Psalm 115 states “not to us” twice. We do not offer glory and praise for us but to Him!

 

As long as we are alive we can trust and praise the LORD. It is not about what we can do or have done but about fearing and praising God.

 

As I read along in Psalm 115 I realized I could not contain my praise of Him both now and forever. My praise is not dependent on daily circumstances but out of His love and His faithfulness.

 

As we are reminded in Psalm 115:11 The LORD is our helper and our shield. I trust and praise Him. He richly blesses both us and our children! Praise be to the LORD!

 

Will you praise the LORD both now and forever?

 

Today’s Prayer: LORD, I do praise Your name and give You all glory. I am more than amazed that You, who made the heavens and the earth, bless the small and the great with Your increase. Your love and Your faithfulness continue to increase and I ask you to strengthen my trust and increase my praise. All of my praise is to You both now and forever. Amen
