Today’s Scripture: so I say, “My endurance has perished; so has my hope from the LORD.”
The third chapter of Lamentations takes me from the lowest of lows to the highest of highs. I find that if I look to God again and again the whole day long I find His hope.
Sitting in silence with Him; raising my heart and my hands to Him I find compassion and love. My hope is in the love of the LORD. When my soul is seeking God, sometimes in my hopelessness, it is there in the silence while waiting on Him that I come to know true hope.
Lamentations 3:29 states “there may yet be hope”. I test and examine my ways and I return to the LORD. When I return to Him I realize He is near, very near and the source of hope.
Do you need to call on the LORD for help and hope? Call, there may yet be hope.
Today’s Prayer: LORD, I praise You and call on You for help and hope. I know the hopelessness of my hope and I thank You for the hope Your love and compassion provide. I find all of my hope in You LORD. Help me to examine my ways and to return to you again and again the whole day long. Amen
