Today’s Scripture: Deuteronomy 4:29 ESV: But from there you will seek the LORD your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Have you ever tried to explain something to someone and you can just see it in their eyes and sense it in your soul that they just don’t get what you are saying?
Just this morning, I knew I could not get my mind around seeing God. Yet, I asked Him to teach me to “see” with my heart and soul. I wanted to learn to see God with something I did not understand. God is faithful.
Seeking His Word I came across Deuteronomy 4 again. Do I still not get it? It takes seeking and searching with all we have to find God. These verses recount the people of God not being able to see Him in the fire but they could hear His voice.
Our minds cannot grasp this but our spirits, our souls can if we seek with all of them. Have you learned how? Have you asked God to teach you?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for granting us the ways to see You. Continue to teach me LORD to search for You with all of my heart and all of my soul. Thank You for the glimpses You have given me. I praise Your name and Your light with all of my heart and all of my soul and pray to know Your ways. Amen
