Today’s Scripture: Exodus 3:12 NKJ: So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”
Do we state this affirmation with an exclamation point or a question mark? Do we state this with a hint of doubt in our hearts and minds or with complete confidence? Our certainty is in God and not in us.
In fact, this follows Moses asking who am I that I should go to Pharaoh; we ask that too don’t we? Who am I to bring this message to Your people? Who am I to ______ (fill in your blank). What has God called you to do? Do you recall your burning bush experience of God speaking to you?
Be certain God was in that voice you heard. Like Moses, the sign we will have to know God is certainly with us is that we will be serving God on this mountain we face.
The great I AM has sent us. Will you go in the certainty that God is with you?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father thank You for speaking to us, Your children. Grant us to know Your surety and certainty. That which You have called us to do let us go boldly knowing You are certainly with us. It is not us who makes the way but You LORD. I am going to serve You and Your purposes knowing You are certainly with me. Show me now thine way. Amen
