Today’s Scripture: Psalm 139:16 NLT: You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed
I am not capable of understanding how God has laid out every moment for me but I can believe it. David acknowledges that this is too great for us to understand.
Most translations state that our “days” have already been formed by God. Even a day is beyond my grasp. However this NLT version states every moment. I can handle this moment. In this moment I can seek to live as God laid out for me.
In this moment we can trust God and ask Him to reveal the moment He designed for us. We can ask God to point out His ways. Our days are made up of many moments. Each moment we seek God’s will we find ourselves on the path of everlasting.
God knows our hearts better than we and He knows the moments He has laid out for us. Will you ask God what He has laid out for you in this moment?
