Today’s Scripture: Psalm 30:5 NLT: For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.
We must wait for the joy sometimes don’t we? We have to trust in who God is and not what we are enduring at the moment. We must continue to praise His holy name no matter where we are.
Thankfully His anger lasts only a moment. He knows our weaknesses. His favor towards us lasts a lifetime. Although we may weep through the night, His joy comes with the morning.
Just like David, there are times when we think nothing can stop us now! Then BAM we are shattered. Out of our pieces we cry out to the LORD and beg for mercy. We cry out to the LORD for help and He is always faithful.
We can trust God’s love for us, endure His anger and trust in His favor. Our weeping may last for a night but His joy will come with the morning.
Do you trust God’s joy will follow your mourning?
Today’s Prayer: I cry out to You O LORD! I am begging You for mercy. I am praising You in my mourning and trusting in Your coming joy. I praise You and thank You for turning my mourning into joy. O LORD, my God, I will give thanks to You forever. I will sing Your praises and not be silent. Amen
