Today’s Scripture: Proverbs 2:4 ESV: if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures,
God gives us clear directions if we search for them. Years ago when I read these verses in Proverbs 2 I felt as if I had found exactly what I desired. I wanted direction and I found it. Specific ACTION steps to take to understand the fear of the LORD and to find the knowledge of God.
This is all I have to do? Take these steps and THEN I will find the knowledge of God? Here I am at least ten years later and have found many more hidden treasures of God in His commands. They are not really hidden but they do require searching.
If we will search for God’s Wisdom in His commands as if hidden treasure we are promised to find them. Many treasures lay hidden because no one truly searched. I am blessed and motivated by the treasures I have found thus far!

Today’s Prayer: Father God, I praise You and thank You for Your words and commandments. I search for Your treasures over all other things. Help me to share Your steps and Your promises that You have shown me. Thank You LORD for hiding these treasures in plain sight yet I still need Your strength and discernment to search diligently. Show me the way LORD. Amen
