Psalms 16:11, NKJV- “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
I have found the Word of God to be experiential. I am writing to you, not out of my joy for writing, but to share the joy I find in writings of the bible. You cannot make up the experiences that take place in the Word of God. I write, much like John, as he wrote in 1 John 1:4 that I am writing to share my joy so your joy may be complete.
1 John 1:3 is one of my favorite verses that justifies my personal apologetics. I am sharing what I have seen and heard so that you also may have fellowship with me; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. In this fellowship is where we find true and complete joy.
I continue to write about the joys and mysteries of God that I have seen and heard by praying and going to God’s Word. I have found awe and joy that words really cannot explain. There are “coincidences” and “synchronicities” that are endless when we are in the presence of God and His Word.
We find random conversations and thoughts somehow combine at the perfect times so often that we know it must only be of God. The odds of these things coming together at the perfect time are incalculable. For those that do not believe, it is most likely because they have not invested the time to be in the presence of God and His Word.
These are not just words in these sixty-six books that make up the bible with almost 800,000 words that were written over 2000 years. The presence of God is found here. We may not understand many aspects of the Holy Scriptures but we will find joy if we are faithful to open them daily.
I have too many stories to share where I have been amazed at the timing of God’s Word on random conversations I have had with acquaintances and with Him. Seemingly random thoughts that are addressed in real time to blow my socks off. In fact, I continue to write only because it is my hope and prayer that others too will experience what I have experienced.
We can trust God’s path of life. The world’s path breeds disappointment and hopelessness while God’s path is the fullness of joy. We all experience the anxieties of life. The demands of life and culture are heavy. The demands of God are that we enter His presence. In God’s presence we do find the fullness of joy.
The daily demands of life demand that we seek out God, the highest power. In His presence we do find joy and so much more. I am challenging you to pray and read God’s Word daily so you too can share with others the fullness of joy that you have found.
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your presence, Your Word, and Your joy. Thank You for speaking these Words and experiences through Your faithful servants. I am sharing the fullness of joy I do find in You and Your Holy Scriptures. Thank You LORD for revealing our paths of life so others too may have fellowship with us and truly our fellowship is with You and Your Son, Jesus Christ. In You LORD we find Your joy. Amen.
