Today’s Scripture: Hebrews 13:6, TLB- “That is why we can say without any doubt or fear, “The Lord is my Helper, and I am not afraid of anything that mere man can do to me.”
Have you ever been sick and tired of being fearful? In the last lesson of Celebrate Recovery we are reminded that to make the changes necessary to celebrate a life of fulfilment and purpose, we must live with Jesus.
We can live without doubt and fear with our helper, the Lord Jesus Christ. We must want what Jesus wants. This life that brings peace and praise to God.
I have lived in way too much fear and doubt in my life. Fear of failure, fear of pain and discomfort, fear of living as a scared little boy. I am more than thankful to know I can turn away from fear and doubt when I simply trust God, his changes, and His ways.
Jesus is the Lord of peace. We will always face evil, and we can always be bold and courageous because we have a helper. Humankind can do nothing to stop God’s plan.
Will you turn to your helper today?
Today’s Prayer: Thank You Jesus for being my helper. I am choosing to live a life of praise to God the Father. I am accepting hardships and fears of life as my pathway to peace and fulfillment. Thank You LORD for removing all fear of humankind from me. I am offering You a sacrifice of praise regardless of what I face today. I welcome all changes You have intended for me so I can offer more of You. Help me Lord to do good and offer You to others. Amen
