Today’s Scripture: Isaiah 41:9, NLT- “I have called you back from the ends of the earth, saying, ‘You are my servant.’ For I have chosen you and will not throw you away.”
I am thankful this “God thing” is not up to me. I am thankful God chose me. My choices in life have proven to be questionable.
However, the call of God is powerful and eternal. I am thankful today that God has called me back from the ends of the earth I have travelled. I tend to wander far and fast. However, it is God who calls me back and proves Himself to be trustworthy.
When people cast us off and we cast others off, God is the one constant. I want to be a friend of God as God referred to Abraham in Isaiah 41:8. I am thankful for God’s friendship and strength. I am grateful that God, the LORD from beginning to end chose me to be with Him.
I am also thankful that God gathers His people so we can help each other with encouragement and strength. The LORD renews our strength
Are you thankful the LORD has chosen you?
Today’s Prayer: Thank You God for choosing me. I am praying to be Your friend as Abraham was Your friend. Help me to be as faithful as Abraham. I am praying to go and do as You have called and chosen me. Help me to help others with encouragement and strength. My faith and my hopes are in You LORD. I only fear You. I am trusting in Your love and strength to renew me today. Amen.
