Today’s Scripture: Luke 1:20, NKJV- “But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time.”
The LORD has the power to turn our hearts and He grants us the power to turn hearts back to him in our appointed season as he did Zechariah in Luke 1:16.
I am thankful to know that the LORD is preparing and turning my heart so I will turn other’s hearts to Him. We may not know when or how just as God used Zechariah and Elizabeth to bring us their son, John the Baptist, who certainly came to turn lives to the LORD.
Gabriel was sent to them and then Joseph and Mary six months later so that Jesus would be provided to turn this entire world towards God.
Even if we are not clear and Gabriel has not showed up to our doors yet, we can still give our hearts to the LORD for Him to turn as He desires. Have you witnessed the LORD turning your heart? Where is He turning your heart today?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty powerful God, please turn my heart where You wish today. Turn my heart to so I may, in turn, turn others. Make Your desires my desires. Help me to do what is right today as I trust Your direction. Turn and prepare my heart for my appointed time and season to complete Your will. Amen.
