Today’s Scripture: James 1:5, NKJV- “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
Do you need wisdom in your life? Do you have a specific demand on you or your heart? Do you wish you knew what to do? Here in James 1:5 we are instructed to simply ask God for wisdom.
I certainly lack wisdom in direction and activities to take. LORD, I need Your wisdom to guide me. Since I am lacking in wisdom and clarity, I need You LORD to give me wisdom with a clarity even I can understand. I am thankful that Your Word here in James 1:5 promises that wisdom will be given if we ask.
I am asking, God. As directed in James 1:6, I do believe You are giving me the wisdom I am asking for. I know You are answering me now and I am asking to know Your answers. I am asking for clarity, LORD, please make Yourself obvious to me.
I love You LORD and I am persevering with Your power and wisdom. I need You LORD and I am trusting You are with me and guiding me. The good and perfect direction is coming to us through heavenly lights. Guide us with Your lights Lord.
Father God, I am accepting the word You are planting in me. I am doing what You say. I am doing what I hear from You Lord, and I am trusting in Your blessings.
Do you ask God for wisdom?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, I lack wisdom so I am asking You for wisdom as directed in James 1:5. I am thankful, LORD, for Your promise to give wisdom to us liberally. Grant me direction LORD. Grant me clarity in knowing Your answers. I am trusting in Your wisdom and in Your heavenly lights to guide me. Show me now thine way and please be clear with me with Your wisdom and plans. Amen.
