Today’s Scripture: Ephesians 2:5, NKJV- “even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),”
We must stay directed towards the heavenly realms which Paul reminds us we have been raised up to with Christ. Sometimes I am shocked at how quickly we can turn, in our disobedience, from what makes us alive to that which is dead.
Day in and day out this world and the life in the flesh calls our focus away from the heavenly realms and into the immediacy and urgency of the ways of humankind. Paul reminded the Ephesians and us in Ephesians 1:3 that we have been given every spiritual blessing in Christ by God. We have been chosen to be holy and blameless.
It is Christ who brings into unity the heavenly and the earthly. As we continually look to Him and resist getting lost in the urgent demands of the flesh, we find His will for us. We can put our hope in Christ. The Holy Spirit can keep us alive in Christ.

Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, please draw my eyes, spirit, and soul to Your heavenly realms. Help me to live fully alive today in Jesus Christ. We praise You LORD and thank you for guaranteeing our inheritance in Christ. I will keep giving You thanks and remembering You in my prayers. Help me to know You better Lord. Thank You for enlightening the eyes of my heart so I know what it feels like to be alive in Christ. Help me LORD to stay there always. Amen
