I am going and giving.

Today’s Scripture: Matthew 10:8, NKJV- “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”

When Jesus sent out His original twelve, He gave them instructions to go. We must always be going. Jesus reminded His disciples to go and give what they had been freely given.

We have all been called and given gifts, experiences, and powers by God. I am not saying we have all been called to preach but that we have all been called to go and share what we have been given by the kingdom of God.

Let us go and share how the kingdom is near. If we live from the kingdom of God, the kingdom of God is always nearby. The most powerful apostles of Jesus Christ are those who share what Jesus gave to them when He came near.

Matthew 10 gives us instructions to go. Jesus promised we would be given the words to say when we face persecution of the wolves of society. The Spirit of our Father God will speak through us.

Are you going and giving what you have been given?

Today’s Prayer: Jesus, thank You for sending me. I trust You, God, and His Spirit as I go to share the Kingdom of God. Lord, please help me to give away what I have been so freely given. Help me to heal, cleanse, and raise up those You intend for me. I am trusting You LORD with the words to speak. Guide me with Your wisdom, discernment, and courage to go. Amen.
